EPIBOT - Epitope Prediction

Wellcome to the EPIBOT Web site.

Efficient epitope prediction may reduce cost and time in vaccine development. Several prediction algorithms, available on public Web sites, have been developed using distinct approaches and each one presents strengths and weaknesses.

The use of more than one algorithm can improve the prediction results, however, the submission process of queries to different Web sites and the comparison of the results presented in heterogenous formats, makes such process cumbersome and time consuming.

EPIBOT is a software that automates the process of combining the results different epitope prediction algorithms. As a result, EPIBOT yields a list of epitopes ranked according the quality of these epitope computed by different algorithms.
